Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase of Leaving It Better Than You Found It. While books and printed materials have unique return considerations, we strive to handle all requests with fairness and care.
1. All Sales Are Final (With Exceptions)
Due to the nature of books and printed materials, all sales are final.
However, we do accept returns or offer replacements if the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
2. Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or with printing issues, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
When contacting us, include:

Your name and order number

A description of the issue
-
Photos of the damage or defect (required for replacement)
Once verified, we will send a replacement copy at no cost to you.
3. Wrong Item Received
If you receive an incorrect item, notify us within 7 days so we can correct the mistake.
We will provide a prepaid return label (if needed) and ship the correct item promptly.
4. Lost or Missing Packages
If your package does not arrive:

First contact the shipping carrier with your tracking number to start an investigation.

After doing so, email us and we will assist where possible.
Please note:
We are not responsible for packages lost due to incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer.
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:

Signed books or personalized copies

Digital downloads (if offered)

Gift cards
-
Any book not in its original condition
6. Refunds (If Applicable)
Refunds are only issued when:

A replacement is not available, or
-
An order is canceled before it ships
Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.
Please allow 5–10 business days for your bank or card issuer to post the refund.
7. Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled only if they have not yet shipped.
Once a shipping label has been created or the package is in transit, the order cannot be canceled.
8. Exchanges
Exchanges are offered only for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
We do not offer exchanges for preference-based reasons (e.g., switching from softcover to hardcover after receiving the book).
